Tirora is a small city and municipal council in Gondia district of Maharashtra. A municipal council is the local government of a municipality. Gondia district is a part of Nagpur division. Tirora is also home to Tirora Thermal Power Station. It is a coal based thermal power station located just 3km from the city. The power station is operated by Adani Power.Gondia District Division
